Win Tiler

OVERVIEW

Win Tiler is a Windows enhancement that replaces standard tiling functionality. By default system apply one arrangment to all visible windows on all available screens. Instead of that Win Tiler allows you to point which windows are interesting to you at the moment. They will be resized and placed intelligently. If you select two windows, then they will be arranged horizontally, if you select four then in 2x2 shape. Win Tiler doesn't have any GUI, all functionality is accessed via shortcut keys. Usage is very simmilar to ALT-TAB mechanism. LGPL license, if you are interested feel free to download. All opinions and comments are highly welcome.

QUICK START:

STEP 1. Press LEFT ALT + LEFT WIN + NUMPAD 0 (or NUMPAD1-9 if you have multiple screen environment)

You can see all visible windows arranged in a 3x3 box form.

STEP 2. Release NUMPAD 0, but still hold LEFT ALT + LEFT WIN. Now using NUMPAD1-9 select interesting windows. Each window has its corresponding key. For example Top left - 7, bottom right - 3, numbers are equivalent to their position on numeric keyboard.

STEP 3. Release all keys. Win Tiler will align only selected windows and choose which allignment is best according to their number.
